Day Three: Lazy Day

PICTURES: These are two pictures from my walk to the international office (about a 3 mile walk).

Today, I decided that i was going to get my classes organized and then pick up a few things. So i walked for about three miles to the international studies building and they got me into a creative writing class (WOOOO! I am really excited about that.) And then i walked the long way home, it was near the Thames river so was trying to see some views. On the way home I picked up pita and turkey for lunch. Later i went and got almonds for the dinner i tried to make, which needed something ... but i dono what.

Then, i skyped meg and sandy. And i may do more later, but who knows, i'll talk to my roomie.

k, bye!

  2. Just read your blog and it sounds like you are doing a great job figuring out your new life for a few months. It is amazing how 'getting food and transportation' becomes so essential and so tiring. I am sure that you will get into a routine with some of the people you are meeting soon. If all else fails, good cheese or cereal and milk can go with your pasta that Aunt Sharon suggested. We still live on it when life is too busy, or we are tired. Loved the pictures you posted. Hope you enjoy the castles. It was always amazing to me to realize how long they had been standing, hundreds of years. Can't wait to hear more about what you are seeing and studying. FYI, Cora, Kelly and David say Hi. They are at crew and baseball functions tonight and Uncle Steven, and Kelly and David are going to visit Nain tomorrow to help with some chores.
    Love you:)
